My US timer was close to generating a long signal over the past several days. Trying to be smart, I bought QLD hoping to be ahead of the signal. Well it didn’t work this time and with the markets falling this morning I have sold all my QLD and currently have cash only in my US account.
Likewise with my Canadian timer, it was a little further away from generating a long signal but it was getting close and I took a chance on getting ahead of it by buying HXU and HEU earlier this week. I decided to take my lumps and sell both of these this morning and am now sitting on the sidelines with only XSB in my Canadian account.

Yes. Maybe I need a little more of the patience that the Old Turkey character in Jesse Livermore’s book displayed!
