For those of you who don’t follow me on Covestor, I have purchased some QLD today for my US account which is now roughly 85% IEF and 15% QLD. As I suspect IEF is about to fall in price, I have entered a tight stop.
I am working on a means of gauging how close my timers are to switching signals. The goal is to know when the timers are close to switching direction so I can be ahead of the game. At this early stage in the process, I am considering moving from IEF to QLD in 15% increments as my US timer gets closer to going long. Of course, the timer could change from getting close to going long to going more negative.
For the first time, both my US (fpenney) and Canadian (fjpenney) accounts are ranked in the Top 25 for the past three months based on absolute return at Covestor.
